The Learning Enterprise (TLE) is the learning and development department of HCRG Care Group and is an Independent Training Provider delivering a range of learning interventions to a national external client base. 

We are seeking a dedicated Trainer to provide coverage across the Essex area for face-to-face course delivery, primarily in Patient Moving and Handling and Basic Life Support (BLS). The role also includes virtual classroom delivery on various subjects. While full training will be provided, previous experience in training, particularly in these areas, is highly desirable. This role offers hybrid working from our regional offices, with the requirement of regular national and regional travel.

Main Responsibilities

Design, Develop, and Deliver Training: Create and deliver training sessions and competency assessments for a variety of disciplines and audiences, adapting to different learning environments and learner needs.


Support Internal Quality Assurance: Ensure all clinical and Quality and Safety learning interventions align with the TLE Quality Assurance process.


Training Needs Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Conduct training needs analysis to identify learning demands and implement continuous improvements in learning provision.


Development and Maintenance of Training Materials: Support the development of a modern, blended learning approach, ensuring the training catalogue and materials are up-to-date and compliant with branding standards.


Project Involvement and Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in relevant training projects and provide advice to colleagues and clients on effective learning interventions.


Flexible and Responsive Training Delivery: Demonstrate flexibility in delivering training outside of normal working hours and adapt training to meet specific learner needs.

The Ideal Candidate
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Recognised level 4 teaching, training, or assessing qualification.
Significant clinical practice experience in a relevant field (AHP, Nursing, Social Work).
Ability to deliver training covering a wide range of health and care appropriate subject specialisms.
Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Willingness to work flexibly, including travel to regional and national locations as required, and a clean driver's license.
