Be part of something greater.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAssist SFM in Leading the financial operations and processes for all Ascot operations and guide department heads on financial results, KPI management, reporting and analysis.Support & influence key operational decisions, take detailed analysis and make it presentable for both segment review and in-house team review and analysis.Form productive and proactive relationships with the operational heads of department to help embed a stronger commercial focus, support and ensure budgets and forecasts are robust and owned. To ensure that all team members work in a safe environmentTo suppot HOD’s & the business in Cost Management through careful planning pre raceday & key analytics post racedayOperational team support of costs / P&L. Assist SFM in driving commercial analytics providing key commentary and variance analysis of monthly P&l & balance sheet movementsOwnership of timely & accurate billing across various segments including Fine Dining, Boxes, Agreed PriceOwnership of timely & accurate journal postings of various expenditure across various segments including Fine Dining, Boxes, Agreed PriceTo support the team to resolve any sales or purchase ledger queries that may ariseTo support Raceday events including pre race day planning, race day operational support & post raceday financial closure THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will be an operationally focused, robust finance professional who can assist in delivering a rigorous control environment, provide insight driven reporting and act as an effective business partner to the operational teams.You will be accustomed to dealing with large volumes of data including SAP & Kapture within a fast paced environment, where accuracy and deadline deliverables are key.You will also have:An accountancy qualification (part Qualified accountant, towards the end of finishing their studiesExcellent Microsoft Excel skills with experience in management accounts and reporting developmentsDesirable to have good working knowledge of SAP or other primary accounting systemsExperience in operational and financial controls and continuous improvementDesirable to have knowledge of a high-volume hospitality / restaurant / F&B environmentStrong interpersonal skills and leadership of team membersClearly identifiable influencing skillsWHAT WE OFFERYou will be rewarded with a salary of £55,000 plus access to a range of benefits, including:15% performance-related bonusContributory pension schemeLife assuranceBiennial health assessmentsA flexible benefits fund of £1,300 to utilise a range of benefits, including Private Medical Insurance (PMI), dental, gym memberships, retail / hospitality discounts, etc.For more information on all the great benefits Sodexo offer to support you and your loved ones, check out the attached Benefits Guide at the bottom of this advert!By joining Sodexo Live!, you will be part of something greater, working in an environment that fosters innovation and supports your professional growth.
