We are seeking a Bank Dermatology Surgical Healthcare Assistant to join our skilled team, providing vital support to nursing and medical staff during minor surgeries. This is an exciting post that covers a wide range of duties and skills, which will be taught through practical, hands-on experience!

In this role you will deliver top-tier care in an outpatient setting, away from the traditional hospital environment. As part of our innovative, multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to community-based healthcare solutions for dermatology patients referred by General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners.

Our Service provides Dermatology and Skin Cancer care to service users within the Oldham area. We are classed as being a secondary care service offering a full range of dermatology related services.

You will be based at our Total Skin Dermatology clinic in the Oldham Integrated Care Centre which operates Monday – Sunday.

Main Responsibilities
Assist with minor skin surgery.
Daily recording of room and fridge temperatures and cleanliness
Ordering of stock
Monitoring of stock/ unpacking stock
Restocking of rooms/theatres at the end of day
Undertaking monthly facilities audits
Notifying the Line Manager of any damaged equipment.
Maintenance of accurate medicine stock and records of use (Medicine Management)
