You will be responsible for leading the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring the accuracy of monthly reporting to the centralised group function. The role also involves managing the external audit process, completing statutory accounts in line with international accounting standards, and maintaining the integrity of the balance sheet.Key Responsibilities:Regularly reviewing progress against plans, identifying risks and issuesActing as a liaison between key individuals in Group Finance to gather essential informationServing as the main point of contact for external auditorsCollaborating with stakeholders to ensure accounts are completeContinuously improving financial processes for greater efficiencyAnalyzing large datasets from multiple sourcesManaging part-qualified accountants on balance sheet reporting and pension processesPreparing ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholdersStaying updated on UK tax requirements and international accounting standardsProviding technical support on complex accounting mattersQualifications & Skills:ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualificationStrong numerical and analytical abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to influence internal and external stakeholdersStrong organizational and time-management skillsExperience with SAP/Cognos (desirable)Up-to-date knowledge of international accounting standardsIf you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding role with a dynamic finance team, apply now!#REED
