We ensure you\'re rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to:Monday to FridayCompetitive salaryContributory pension schemeGrow your career with our Career Pathways and MyLearning programmesQuick access for you and your immediate family to a Digital GP, and wider healthcare benefitsExclusive travel discounts with TUI, Expedia, Booking.com and many moreSave money on your food shop with discounts on Tesco, Sainsbury\'s, Morrisons and many moreUp to 44% off cinema tickets to enjoy your favourite blockbusterReceive cash rewards every time you spend and use them on a wide range of brandsUn-wind with us with free wellness, mindfulness and exercise classesYou can share all discounts and offers with your friends and familiesPlease note: this is a 12 month fixed term contractOverall Purpose of the Role The senior nutritionist will be responsible for supporting Restaurant Associates with the delivery of nutrition for employees, clients and consumers across all sites in the UK.The individual will be responsible for managing a small team working across the UK and will be held accountable to guarantee they meet specific KPIs and targets to ensure the sector successfully achieves their nutrition, wellbeing and sustainability commitments.The Head of Nutrition will engage with key stakeholders both internally and externally and will support the food offer with knowledge of legislation around food and nutrition.The Head of Nutrition will be responsible for a variety of projects and expected to present at internal and external meetings with senior colleagues.The candidate will work closely with Business Directors, Food Service and Marketing teams to maintain relationships and will support the wider teams in delivering their individual and combined strategies.The nutritionist will support sales and retention presentations to enable Restaurant Associates to hit annual growth and retention targets.The Head of Nutrition is responsible for helping to ensure that nutrition remains an integral part of the business and to ensure Restaurant Associates stays ahead of our competitors. Key Responsibilities Attending sites on a weekly basis Delivering nutrition education sessions to clients & customers Ensuring all nutrition information communicated is accurate and appropriate for the audiencePresent updates on internal nutrition projects to senior stakeholders Provide expert knowledge of legislation around food and nutrition Ensure compliance to legislation in all sites and lead the way with building policies and procedures Design and develop new approaches that enhance the nutrition support we offer to clients Work independently to successfully execute key nutrition projects for the businessManage a team of nutritionists and drive initiatives forwardSupport new business and retention sales presentations and tender proposals Ensure any KPIs and/or annual targets are met where applicable (e.g. commitments made to the client around the food offer or added value delivery) Working in partnership with other members of the nutrition team to share knowledge Working closely with Operators and Business Directors to promote a joined-up approachSupport the climate and sustainability strategyPerson Specification Graduate of an accredited nutrition degree from university Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the nutrition, food and/or foodservice field Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with the Association for Nutrition Experience evaluating the nutritional content of food using software systems Confident in communicating to large groups of people and controlling challenging meetings/conversationsExperience managing or mentoring a teamConfident in delivering nutrition and food education to different audiences Must be willing to travel and stay away from homeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates Compass values and principlesExperience of using process and planning to deliver consistent results to expectationsAbility to quickly gain credibility with key stakeholder groupsAn approach to negotiating and building co-operation that supports organisational goalsAbility to quickly gain credibility with key stakeholder groupsProfessional, organised, presentable, efficient and self-motivatedA passion for keeping up to date with research and national health eventsExcellent presentation skillsExcellent IT skillsAbility to manage a busy diary independently
