We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to carry out caretaking and maintenance duties working as part of a small team in our thriving co-educational independent specialist day school.
Main ResponsibilitiesDuties and responsibilities:-
General maintenance and upkeep of the school premises
Ensuring the school grounds are safe, clean, and welcoming
Completing basic safety checks and general maintenance linked to Health and Safety
Basic repair work and liaising with contractors when necessary
Assisting with relocating of furniture as and when required
Assisting with the setup of school events and activities
Candidates should be able to work well with others as an integral part of The Levels School team to assist a seamless operation of maintenance needs whilst being confident in their own abilities to be able to work unsupervised when required.
Working hours: 07.30 – 3.30 pm Monday to Friday
35 hours per week All Year Round, we would consider Part Time hours for the right candidate.

Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role (preferred but not essential)
A proactive approach to work with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff
