We are seeking an experienced HR Systems Lead to manage the creation, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems that support business operations and drive excellence. In this role, you’ll ensure smooth colleague transitions during mobilizations and exits, by leading system changes, building reports, and analysing data to enhance automation and improve HR and payroll solutions.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure all actions align with the company’s values and contribute to operational success.

Main Responsibilities
Lead configuration changes in the I Trent system, including payroll elements, pension schemes, and workflows.
Monitor and maintain HR and payroll systems, ensuring smooth operation.
Resolve operational issues with third-party providers.
Manage HR interfaces with other company systems.
Conduct system testing for upgrades and service packs.
Participate in due diligence for mobilizations and exits.
Identify project risks and roadblocks.
Provide technical guidance throughout projects.
Stay updated on HR/payroll regulations and best practices.
Support HR, Payroll, and Finance teams in projects.
Generate and analyze HR/payroll reports to inform business strategy.
Create and upgrade Business Objects reports.
Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure data accuracy and present findings clearly.


This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for remote work alongside time spent at our Runcorn office, with a requirement to visit the office once a week.
The Ideal CandidateYou will have:


Proficiency in Midland HR's iTrent system.
Excellent System knowledge and how systems are used to interact with each other
Technical expertise in the HR/payroll domain
Advanced skills in Microsoft applications
An analytical approach to problem-solving
Experience as an HR/Payroll professional.


Desirable Qualifications:


An accredited qualification in Data Analytics.
CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) qualification
