Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with one of the most reputable sustainable energy companies in the UK and a pioneer in the sector. The company develop, construct own and operate their own renewable energy assets and we are looking for a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to attend their sites in and around the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk area covering a mixture of EV chargers, large scale solar and battery storage assets.
The SAP role comes with a salary of up to �60,000, excellent development and progression opportunities, an electric vehicle with charge points on site and company benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will:
* Routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on high-voltage (HV) networks.
* High-voltage (HV) construction and commissioning work, including fault finding.
* Writing HV switching schedules and performing HV switching to ensure Safety from the System.
* Issuing Safety Documents in line with company Electrical Safety Rules.
* Supervising third-party contractors and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Leading HV fault investigations and producing detailed reports.
* Supporting the training and assessment of Field Service Engineers in HV operations.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Proven experience as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with HV work experience up to 33kV (private networks).
* Experience with HV switchgear commissioning, cable testing, and construction.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Working knowledge of G59 and G99 relays.
* Experience managing on-site staff and contractors.
