To be responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the unit under their control providing a quality service. Responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards and specification. To ensure the efficient and economic use is made of all resources, including stock, team members and company assets.The ideal candidate is someone who can manage their time between the food/cooking elements of the job whilst balancing the back of house operations such as stock take, stock ordering, cashing up etc. Should be comfortable interfacing with and speaking with clients and key stakeholders on a daily basis as the soft service manager for the campus has an office two doors down from the catering team on site.
