Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with an international company that operates across highly regulated sectors including Civil Nuclear and has a strong presence and history of delivery at nuclear sites in the UK and internationally. They are looking for a HVAC Engineer to help design and deliver heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for projects.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will:
* Create designs that meet project requirements.
* Produce necessary design documents throughout the project.
* Check design calculations for accuracy.
* Participate in design and safety reviews.
* Write technical specifications and operational documents.
* Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of all design materials.
* Follow safety and legal regulations.
* Develop cost-effective solutions.
* Conduct site surveys and write assessment reports.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
* Nuclear Experience is desirable
* A full UK driving licence
Personal skills
The HVAC Engineer role would suit someone who has:
* Experience in design within regulated industries.
* Proven success in delivering design solutions.
* Knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
* Experience working in project environments.
* Good organizational and people skills.
* Understanding of HVAC systems.
* Familiarity with REVIT, AutoCAD, and IESVE design software.
