Astute’s Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a utility scale solar O&M company to recruit a Junior Field Service Engineer for its sites in West Cornwall.
This role comes with a salary of �30,000 - �36,000 DOE, company van and provides an excellent opportunity to move into the utility scale solar world.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Operationsyou will:
* Assisting with planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements. Learning around reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and standard operating procedures
* Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner
* Carrying out site surveys requests as required
* Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
* Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, High Voltage and safety documents that are suitable for audit
* Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity
* Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications or equivalent
* 17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations
* Ideally at least a year’s experience in electrical installation/maintenance work in either an industrial, commercial or even domestic capacity
* Full UK licence
