I am looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a specialist groundworks and civil engineering company. This role will be responsible for overseeing H&S across the business, leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives while maintaining a hands-on approach. As this is currently a standalone position, the ideal candidate will have experience in groundworks, civil engineering, or RC frames, and be comfortable working across multiple sites, balancing both strategic leadership and on-the-ground involvement
The Role:
* Lead the development, and implementation of the H&S strategies, initiatives, and targets that ensure continual improvement
* Represent the business at meetings involving internal and external stakeholders
* Carrying out site inspections, audits, incident reports, and accident investigations when required.
* Review, update and improve internal training to continuously improve health & safety policies and procedures.
* Maintaining company accreditations across HSEQ
* Collect, review and report data across health & safety to identify trends and suggest business improvements.
The Candidate:
* 5 years plus experience working in Health & Safety
* NEBOSH qualified, ideally to Diploma level
* Civil Engineering and groundworks experience is a must for the position
* Cert IOSH or working toward considered.
* Happy to work in a stand-alone position with travel across London to multiple sites.
