Logistics and Distribution Manager - Chelsea FC£40,000 per annum 5 out of 7 days per week Medicash – Healthcare benefits, including dental, optical and therapy treatments (includes up to 4 dependent children)Aviva Digicare – Free annual healthcare check Exclusive Benefits & Wellbeing site (Perks at Work)Entertainment discounts – up to 55% off cinema ticketsHealth & Wellbeing discounts – Discounts for Nuffield Health (20%) and Pure Gym (10%) Travel discounts – Discounts with holiday companies such as TUI and ExpediaShopping discounts – Save up to 15% at high street and online stores by purchasing Shopping CardsMeals on dutyVodaphone discountsPension scheme and Life AssuranceEmployee Assistance Programme23 days + BH’s and an additional day off for your birthday2 days additional leave, following return from Maternity leave during the first year backCompetitive and supportive family benefitsDay off for baby\'s 1st birthdayHoliday purchase schemeOn-going training & development and career pathwaysProfessional subscriptions paidFinancial wellbeing programme and preferred rates on salary finance productsWe are looking for a Logistics and Distribution Manager to lead our Logistics department with clear communication and organisation skills.Levy at Chelsea FC is all about quality and innovation, where the job holder works with the Culinary and Operations team managing the goods receiving, incoming of goods and processing onto the system ensuring all items are received and documented in a timely manner.Key Focus AreasDevelop and implement logistics strategies and frameworks, during busy periods like back to back matches and during great hall eventsPlan routes and load schedules for multi-drop deliveries.Inputting data, processing purchase orders, verifying quantities and part numbers, photographing, and recording any shortages and reporting to suppliers or food buy to rectify.Clear communication and proactiveness with the logistics department.Monthly stock taking and with regular prices updatesFill GRL log and communicate business spending with the Exec Chef and finance team.Leads effective and collaborative communication with all key internal and external stakeholders Must be pallet truck both manual and electric and be able to train other and maintain recordsAll goods receiving areas must always be kept clean and tidy meeting the highest of standards, this includes equipment used day to day to achieve tasks and to ensure we never compromise on quality and cleanliness through exceptional professional standardsMust be trained to drive buggy Ensure all supplier vehicles details are pass onto Chelsea Security in a timely mannerManage volumes and compliance through preferred suppliers and local sourcing where applicable.Manage and control of stock ensuring stock rotation is always adhered to.Sticking to food and labour budgets given by the finance department and Exec ChefPeople management of both permanent and fixed teams on site to include effective leadership, recruitment, engagement, training, development and motivation.Legislative and company HSE procedures and standards complianceManage and control labour costs to ensure they meet or exceeds company budgets.To work with the HR team at each stage of the employee/variable worker journey to ensure the right candidates are selected to work in the Goods receiving and distribution team and that there welcome to the company is inspiring informative and educational. To take full responsibility for the technical training during a recruit on boarding phase, working to standard operating procedures.Creation and implementation of strategic plans to improve costs across the departmentEnsure there is enough PPE for all operatives in the departmentWork closely with the culinary team in managing food wastage effectively and recording where needed Who we are:Levy UK & Ireland is the vibrant and exciting sector of Compass Group, the world’s largest catering company.
