The Role:
The company is looking for Trainee or Experienced NDT Technicians to join its UK team. For experienced candidates, you'll be expected to apply your technical skills across a range of aircraft platforms, conducting essential inspections and testing. Trainees will be provided with comprehensive training to gain Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) qualifications, developing hands-on experience while working alongside industry experts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting Magnetic Particle Inspections (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspections (DPI) on various aircraft components.
* Supporting routine daily, weekly, and monthly control checks.
* Assisting in stock management and the maintenance of plant equipment.
* Collaborating with the SOP Engineer to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Ensuring compliance with EASA, FAA, and internal company safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Candidate Requirements:
Experienced Technicians:
* EN4179 certification in both Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI).
* Proven experience in a Non-Destructive Testing environment.
* Ability to read and interpret manufacturer overhaul and repair manuals.
Trainee Technicians:
* Some experience or background in engineering or the aerospace industry.
* Enthusiasm for developing hands-on skills in Non-Destructive Testing.
* A willingness to undergo training and gain industry-recognised NDT certifications.
* A GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
