Astute’s Renewables team is exclusively partnering with RAW Energy, a leading company within the renewable sector to recruit for a Renewable Energy Developer. This position will support projects across the UK.
The strategically important Renewable Energy Developer role comes with a salary of �65,000- �80,000 depending on experience, pension, hybrid working.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Renewable Project Developer you will:
* Identify and evaluate potential sites for renewable projects, taking into account factors such as infrastructure, environmental impact, legal and regulatory requirements, and financial feasibility.
* Lead the full project development process, from land acquisition and permits to stakeholder engagement and grid connections.
* Oversee third-party contractors and consultants to meet project milestones within budget and timelines.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Manage all project aspects, including grid connections, legal negotiations, and operational strategies, while ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Conduct financial evaluations and maintain client relationships while staying updated on industry trends.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Renewable energy development experience
* Experience within Anaerobic digestion (desirable)
* Extensive background within permitting, energy policy and planning systems.
* Project management skills
* Experience of securing grid connections
