We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join one of the UK's largest logistics & manufacturing businesses. You'll be responsible mainly for sites in the Darlington area with occasional travel further afield. This position is leading health & safety for a newly acquired smaller business of the company in question and will offer the successful candidate excellent learning opportunities and promotion potential.
The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
Support site teams to implement group health and safety procedures.
Engaging with local enforcement authorities and agencies on health & safety issues.
Assist in compilation of health & safety management arrangements to ensure retention of ISO accreditation.
Provide health and safety coaching for all levels of operational teams
The Health & Safety Manager will have:
Health & Safety experience in any high-risk experience.
At least 3 years' experience in Health & Safety.
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent. Ideally with or working towards the NEBOSH Diploma
Fire safety experience desirable.
