We currently have an opportunity for a Food Support Assistant - Picking and Packing to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Main Responsibilities


Safe use of industrial catering equipment
Storing TVF foods after delivery
Decanting and labelling food items
Collection of patient menu orders on the day of service using a PDA,
Loading and regenerating food according to order
Cleaning of kitchen areas
Cleaning of industrial catering equipment
Preparation of ward food issues
Recording of temperatures and corrective actions in accordance with company policy
Printing via PC, picking and packing sheets
Stock rotation


What you'll bring

Ability to use a PC
Ability to learn new skills

Ability to follow instruction at all times
Good customer service skills
High standards of personal Hygiene
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic literacy skills
The ability to communicate effectively
