Newly created opportunity working for a national UK retailer and manufacturer. The company in question is in the process of regenerating their health & safety performance and you will play a key part in that regeneration. There is a good scope for promotion and progression with the wider the business you are joining. Based five days a week from the company's head office in south Yorkshire.
The Health & Safety Business Partner will be responsible for:
* Working in close collaboration with the Head of Health & Safety at the company's 800 employee head office in south Yorkshire.
* Implementing the company's health & safety management systems and accreditations.
* Changing the company's attitude to health & safety performance.
* Providing expert advice to help the business implement effective H&S risk controls.
The Health & Safety Business Partner will have:
* NEBOSH General Certificate. Ideally with or working towards the NEBOSH Diploma.
* 3-5 years' Health & Safety experience, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
* A good understanding of risks associated with workplace transport, racking and manual handling.
* PUWER and CDM knowledge advantageous.
* A coaching and mentoring approach to health & safety
