Job Title: Locum Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
Location: Southend, Essex
Hourly Rate: �29 - �37 per hour, via PAYE Direct Engagement
Contract: 6-Month Contract, ASAP Start (Nov 2024)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking several dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacists to join our NHS Hospital client , on a 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing clinical pharmacy services to patients and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct clinical medication reviews for hospital patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
* Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters.
* Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimise patient care.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans.
* Manage and monitor patients with complex medication regimens.
* Ensure adherence to best practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
* Support the education and training of junior pharmacy staff.
Requirements:
* Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Previous experience in a clinical pharmacy setting (Band 7/8a preferred).
* Strong knowledge of medicines management and clinical pharmacy practice.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Experience with patient medication counselling and pharmaceutical care plans.
* ASAP start with a minimum of 6 months availability.
