Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a reputable NHS hospital in Nottingham. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective delivery of pharmacy services to patients, specifically in a ward-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
* Conduct medication reviews and support clinical teams in managing patient medication therapies.
* Provide advice and information to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medications.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of pharmacy activities.
* Participate in stock management, ensuring adequate supply and proper storage of medications.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the wards to support optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Medicines Management qualification or previous hospital ward-based experience required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
