If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!Your Mission:As the Mobilisation Operations Manager (North-East), you’ll be at the forefront of service innovation, ensuring outstanding care and support for the children we look after.Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you’ll lead, mobilize, and embed new service developments while ensuring that our teams deliver the highest standards of care and compliance.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage new service development, ensuring deadlines and key milestones are met.• Improve the lives of vulnerable children through quality care, effective planning, and operational excellence.• Be the vital link between regulatory bodies and our services, ensuring compliance with OFSTED standards.• Build strong, motivated teams with the right ethos and values, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.• Act as the Responsible Individual for services when required, supporting and mentoring your team to achieve excellence.• Drive commercial viability while maintaining our reputation for outstanding care.• Work closely with Clinical, Outdoor, and Educational teams to deliver a holistic approach to care.What We’re Looking For:• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).• At least 6 years of experience in residential childcare, with a deep understanding of complex needs.• 4+ years in management with a proven track record in recruitment, performance management, and budget handling.• Knowledge of OFSTED regulations and experience working with regulatory bodies.• A proactive, resilient leader who can juggle priorities, think strategically, and foster a people-first culture.• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between services.Why Join Us?At A Wilderness Way, we’re more than just a care provider—we’re a family dedicated to transforming lives.You’ll have the chance to lead with purpose, grow your career, and be part of an organisation that truly values its people.
