You will serve a variety of items in our retail unit as a Subway Sandwich Artist with Sodexo at Royal Stoke University Hospital, helping to maintain the day-to-day operations of the retail business. If you have amazing experience, we would love to hear from you, however, please note that this is also a terrific "first job" role!
The majority of your work will involve interacting with patients, visitors, and staff while providing exceptional customer service. Whilst working in this role, it is important to note that your daily encounters with our patients, staff and visitors, can help lessen some of the stress that is often associated with hospitalisation. What you’ll do:
Be responsible for selling products and operating the till
Effectively communicate with your line supervisor regarding stock management, including receiving deliveries, restocking the shop and rotating goods.
Encourage new ways of working at the store by having an optimistic outlook and an open mind.
Taking the initiative to support deals, discounts, and loyalty programmes
Have the capacity and self-assurance to challenge customers who appear younger than 25 when they try to purchase items that are restricted.
Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store and facilities.
What you bring:

Excellent product knowledge and services across the store
It is amazing if you have prior experience, however, if not, we can assist in ensuring that you have complete confidence in your role.
Recognise customers needs and see the potential for relevant sales
Be adaptable in different situations
Good level of proficiency with digital tools and applications
