HCRG Care Group is looking for a motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our fast-paced finance team! This role is key to growing our FP&A function, and you'll be deeply involved in shaping our financial strategy. As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you’ll lead and manage complex financial models for scenario analysis and strategic planning, implementing technology solutions to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency.

Staying current on industry trends and best practices, you’ll support accurate forecasts and budgets and handle ad hoc analysis as needed. You’ll also take ownership of Jet Report templates and documents used by our finance team, continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until July 2025, offering a hybrid work model with a requirement to visit our Runcorn office weekly.

Main ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will include:


Own and coordinate the budget and forecast processes, providing clear timelines, templates, and guidance to the Commercial Finance Team.
Consolidate budgets and forecasts, including presentations and system uploads.
Produce detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, including Finance Reference Packs with draft commentary.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Coordinate the month-end process.
Complete group consolidations for covenant reporting, NHS reporting, and scenario planning.
Develop monthly payroll reports and quarterly forecast files.
Build and manage complex financial models for scenario analysis and strategic planning.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
Own and manage Jet Report templates and documents used by finance colleagues.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains within the Finance function.

The Ideal CandidateThe Ideal Candidate:

Essentials:


Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Driving license with access to a vehicle.
Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong ability to create complex financial models, perform data analysis, and automate tasks.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Minimum of 3 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).


Desirable:


Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Jet Reporting.
Proficiency in Macros.
Track record of working with consolidations, balance sheets, and cash flows.
