We are currently seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our team at Sodexo in Hereford County Hospital, HR1 2ER. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a strong work ethic, and excellent organisational skills. What you’ll do:
Maintain patient safety by keeping their rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital areas clean.
Strip and clean beds and collect linen
Clean desks, ceilings and vents, walls, blinds, and other surfaces to create a sterile, safe environment.
Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies
Emptying bins and waste containers
Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff
