We are seeking a capable and experienced Band 6 Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the Community Adult Learning Disabilities service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands .
This opportunity is open to suitably-experienced Health Professionals with PBS/LD experience and appropriate UK statutory professional registration.
Reporting to the Positive Behaviour Support Team Lead with support from a Band 4 Outreach Worker you will:
- Work alongside both children and adults (approx 50/50) with learning disabilities in a variety of community based settings.
- Be responsible for conducting Functional Assessments.
- Develop Positive Behaviour Support plans.
- Support families and staff to implement a variety of positive behavioural interventions.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The Guernsey Band 6 salary range is �43,954 to �59,343 plus an annual bonus of �1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave

Person requirements :
Qualified Health Professional with full registration with the NMC, HCPC and/or BACB.
An appropriate post-graduate qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behavioural Support.
Appropriate experience at Band 5 or Band 6-equivalent level.
To hold a driving licence.
