Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in Aseptics?
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our client's pharmacy team at an NHS hospital in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for aseptic preparation to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and dispensing aseptic medications, including chemotherapy, intravenous preparations, and other sterile products.
* Ensuring compliance with safety standards and aseptic technique guidelines.
* Contributing to the smooth running of the aseptic unit, including stock management and equipment maintenance.
* Providing mentorship and support to junior staff and trainees.
* Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
* Recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification (BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
* Minimum of 6 months experience working with aseptic services, including preparation of chemotherapy and other sterile products.
* Knowledge of aseptic techniques, health and safety regulations, and relevant pharmacy legislation.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:
* Post-registration qualifications in aseptic services.
* Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
