With over 25 years of experience, our partner develops and builds wind and solar farms, as well as battery and hydrogen projects worldwide. Their specialist teams handle every aspect of project development and implementation—from site assessment, planning and engineering through to operational management and maintenance of assets.

We are recruiting for a Market Analyst for Battery Storage to join their dynamic Hybrid Energy Storage team in Dublin, Ireland

If you have experience analysing renewable energy projects, particularly battery storage and hybrid solutions, and possess a strong understanding of energy markets and business models, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities and duties

As a Market Analyst for Battery Storage for Hybrid Energy Systems, you will:

* Monitor and analyse energy market trends in Ireland and the UK to stay ahead of industry developments.
* Conduct research on regulatory and policy issues affecting current and future battery revenue streams, providing strategic insights to guide the Storage and Development department’s market approach.
* Identify and develop business models and go-to-market strategies for standalone battery storage projects or hybrid projects (battery storage combined with wind or solar assets), collaborating closely with internal teams.
* Support the Finance department in developing financial models and assist in the due diligence process with investors.
* Understand and estimate revenue stacking calculations for available markets in standalone battery storage or hybrid projects (battery storage combined with wind and/or solar assets).

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

* Degree in economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
* Experience analysing renewable energy projects, including battery storage.
* Solid understanding of business models for energy storage and familiarity with financing.
* In-depth knowledge of energy markets.
* Strong skills in communication, project management, and negotiation.

Personal skills

We are looking for someone with the following:

* An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised, efficient, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently on specific tasks.
* Open-minded with a creative approach to problem-solving
* Capable of working effectively within a team and managing external stakeholders.
* Fluent in English, with German language skills considered an asset.
