Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a UK based renewable energy company who specialises in the development, construction and operation of utility scale solar projects, to recruit a Health and Safety Officer for their Ireland site.
The strategically important project manager role comes with €45,000- €55,000 salary and flexible working.
Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager you will:
* Complete site inspections, as well as audits.
* Ensuring site staff comply with company safety.
* Review RAMS for sub-contractors
* Support the Health and Safety Manager with general tasks
* Update and maintain company safety management system.
* Identify training needs
* Deliver health and safety inductions, toolbox talks and training
* Organise safety meetings
* Assist with accident and incident investigations
* Submit weekly reports
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Level 3 EHS Qualification
* 5 years experience is a similar role
* Construction experience (desirable)
Personal skills
The Health and Safety Officer role would suit someone who is:
