A new and exciting opportunity awaits an experienced hospitality professional to join our team and assume the newly created position of Restaurant Managerwithin the brasserie at Fulham Pier.As Restaurant Manager you will bring your passion for top-tier service excellence to the brasserie and play a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest.The brasserie is positioned to offer affordable luxury in a beautifully curated environment and therefore the role requires a unique Restaurant Manager with their own brand of personality and flair, to deliver an unforgettable experience to all that visit. Fulham Pier will become the heart of the community and the standard bearer for indulgent experiences, which will attract locals, Londoner’s and tourist from all over the world.We are exceptional hosts and independent champions, curating authentic brands that are dreamed up and run with passion.We have a remarkable selection of food and drink experiences, ranging from, Pop-up bars and pop-up dining events , to elegant fine dining experiences.Our entertainment options are as exceptional as our dining experiences, and we cater for all tastes and moods. We offer local theatre, outdoor gigs, jazz clubs, an art gallery, cooking classes, a comedy club, book launches, film nights and water sports, to name but a few. In addition to this we offer educational activities and crèche and soft play facilities. Whether it’s saluting the sun in the morning with riverfront yoga or toasting the night with a magical cocktail we are building a playground for the senses!MAIN RESPONSIBLITIESOversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operation, including front-of-house service, staffing, and guest experience.Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, ensuring food safety and cleanliness are prioritised.Manage operational challenges such as staffing levels, inventory control, and customer satisfaction in a high-volume environment.Develop strategies to maintain competitive advantage within the local hospitality market, ensuring the brasserie remains a popular choice for both regular patrons and event attendees.Develop and implement service standards, ensuring consistency in customer service and dining experience.Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure menu offerings meet customer expectations and are delivered to the highest quality.Manage the recruitment, training, and development of front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service and employee engagement.Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall dining experience.Manage the restaurant’s budget, ensuring that labour, food, and beverage costs are controlled in line with financial goals.Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house, guaranteeing timely and accurate service.Ensure the restaurant adheres to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests.Develop and implement strategies to increase footfall and revenue, including promotions, events, and marketing activities in collaboration with the marketing team.:THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will have previous experience managing restaurant operations within a premium high volume dining restaurant. You will have the drive an ability to lead and manage the front-of-house team to provide a seamless and high-quality dining and the expertise to deliver the quality of service that will contribute to the overall atmosphere of the brasserie and Fulham Pier, providing an elegant and remarkable experience for all guests.You will also have:Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a front-of-house team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing personalised, high-quality service to members.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, with a commitment to maintaining high standards. Excellent business relationship skills.Level 2 in Food Safety.Strong Interpersonal Skills.Problem solving abilities.Understanding of launching and activating new hospitality spaces (desirable).The ability to be financially astute, with experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving revenue.Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements in a restaurant setting.The flexibility to work 5 over 7 days and evenings.WHAT WE OFFERWe offer a salary of up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits that include:TRONCEmployer pension contributionLife assuranceWe’re experience makers and food fanatics.
