Location: Northern Upholstery, Bentley Moor Lane, Doncaster DN7 6BD
Hours: Full Time. 40 hours per week.
Shifts: This role will operate on our alternate shift -
5:30 am until 13:50 Monday - Friday
14:00 till 00:30 Monday to Wednesday and 14:00 until 00:05 on a Thursday
Salary: £23,795 per annum

What you'll be doingWe are seeking a Production Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team at our Northern Upholstery Factory on a permanent basis. This role offers an opportunity to start a rewarding career with DFS. As a Production Operative you will learn the factory processes and the materials needed to manufacture our furniture.
Initially, your responsibilities will include ensuring that materials and products are available throughout the factory, which will involve significant manual lifting and require stamina. As you become proficient in your role and gain a deeper understanding of the products, you can choose to develop specialised skills such as upholstery or sewing, providing you with excellent opportunities for growth and increased earnings.
No prior experience is necessary—only a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn. You will have the opportunity to learn the factory processes and if you want to progress on to other roles within the business, this is the perfect opportunity to join us to start to develop your career.
