We are excited to partner with a leading manufacturing organization seeking to appoint an experienced Divisional Head of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing. This key leadership role will drive and shape the health, safety, and wellbeing strategy across their UK and Ireland sites.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's safety culture and fostering continuous improvement. The Role of Divisional Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing:
* Create, develop and implement the health, safety, and wellbeing strategy across their UK & Ireland sites
* You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
* You will drive cultural change, bringing HSE and Compliance to the forefront
* Coaching, managing and developing senior stakeholders will be essential, for you to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactive
* Ensure standards are met and continually improved upon
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
* Lead a large team of HSE professionals
The Divisional Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing candidate will have:
* Must have proven senior experience in a similar role within a heavy industry/engineering/manufacturing environment
* Proven leadership skills the ability to engage at all levels is vital
* Experience maintaining management systems such as ISO14001, ISO 45001
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
* Ideally a Chartered member of IOSH (or working towards)
* NEBOSH Environmental or IEMA Certificate
* NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management / IEMA Diploma is desirable
* Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
* Candidates will be expected to travel nationally
