Astute’s EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the Global Power Industry to recruit a Project Planner on an initial 12 months basis for their new build CCGT plant based in Grudziadz, Poland
The Project Planner comes with a day rate from €400.00 to €450.00.
Key skills and responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
* Break down the project into manageable work packages and activities aligned with the CCGT project scope.
* Monitor progress against the schedule, identifying and addressing potential delays.
* Conduct regular updates to project timelines and milestones, incorporating changes and forecasting potential impacts.
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure alignment with project schedules.
* Present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigations.
* Identify potential scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies.
* Conduct "what-if" analyses to assess the impact of project changes on timelines and budgets.
* Proven experience in project planning within the power generation sector, specifically CCGT plants.
* Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
* In-depth knowledge of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) workflows in power plant projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
