Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence.The service you will work in….Bromley tenancy support service provides tenancy related support to residents of Bromley who need support in maintaining their tenancies or are at risk of losing their tenancy. The service works with singles, couples and families who find themselves in this situation and who need assistance in managing their tenancies. The promotion of independence is paramount in this service and this is achieved through key working and support planning where the service users themselves are in charge of identifying goals and outcomes that they want to achieve with some assistance for the service.Typically service users will reside in Bromley but occasionally referrals are received from residents who reside outside of the borough having been placed in temporary accommodation by Bromley council.Those supported by the service may have other support issues not directly linked to tenancy management but which have a significant impact of how well a service user manages their lives and tenancy so the service will support and signpost service users to drug and alcohol services, mental health and GP services, specialist financial supportsA day in this role looks like….<
/strong>As a Floating Support Worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Brent Mental Health Floating Support Team. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:To be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining independent living skills and general wellbeing for a wide cross section in society within and outside BromleyTo use organisational needs, risk and aspirational based assessment tools with the service users to gain a clear understanding of their individual situationsTo formulate, implement and review personalised, client focused support plans with service users and other professionals as needed.To utilise key working sessions with service users to enable them to develop and sustain independence, maintain their tenancy, and enjoy a good quality of life.To motivate service users to participate in and take ownership of all aspects of their daily lives.To encourage engagement in activities which supports their physical and mental wellbeing.To enable service users to access physical and mental health services within the local community.To promote independence with service users ​through effective relationship building.To support service users, maximise their financial security and independence through encouraging access to employment, training and volunteering opportunities.To liaise effectively and professionally with other agencies involved in supporting the service users.To provide quality information to service users on alternative housing options when needed and how best to utilise existing supports.Why Hestia?Joining Hestia means mor
