Band 6 Learning Disabilities CPN - South London - 3 to 6 Month Ongoing Contract

We're looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Learning Disabilities Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN). Could this be you?

Here's what you need to know:

Position : Band 6 Learning Disabilities CPN
Location : South London
Duration : 3-6 months ongoing
Schedule : Monday to Friday (09:00am-17:00pm)
Start Date : ASAP
Pay Rate : �27-�30 per hour

A Typical Day in This Role
As a Band 6 Learning Disabilities CPN, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the community. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Conducting comprehensive, autonomous assessments of individuals' mental health, social, and environmental needs.
* Developing and delivering tailored care plans to meet each person's unique requirements.
* Providing crisis intervention and safeguarding support as needed.
* Utilizing evidence-based practices to assess, plan, and implement interventions.
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, carers, and external agencies to ensure cohesive and effective care.
* Keeping accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with professional and organizational standards.
* Acting as a key advocate for individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
* Staying informed about changes in mental health legislation and best practices to deliver the highest standard of care.

What We're Looking For

* Qualifications : Active registration with the NMC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD).
* Experience : Proven experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
* Skills : Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
* Approach : A commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.

Working Hours and Duration
This is a Monday-to-Friday role with flexible hours to suit your schedule. The initial contract will be for 3 to 6 months, with potential for extension.
