Destination Experience Co-Ordinator

Salary: 12-month FTC £23,000

FT- 35 hours per week (Open to discussion on flexible hours and part-time employment, would require 4 days a week minimum)

Hybrid- Ashford Hub 2 days / Home 3 days

Saga Cruises has an ambitious growth plan, providing exceptional cruise experiences that inspire new and existing customers to explore with us on our new boutique ocean and river cruise ships.

And right now, we are looking for a Destination Experience Co-Ordinator to join the team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity where you will help deliver an exciting range of innovative, market-leading shore excursions for Saga’s Ocean & River cruise ships across our worldwide destinations.

We are looking for a candidate who is well-versed in Excel and possesses experience working with database systems, to support the shore excursion production system to include all administrative functions. This will consist of all in-house system inputting (Taurus & MXP) and allocation management across primarily our Ocean and River cruise product range as required.

Main Responsibilities
MXP System administration – inputting of all shorex tour programme data including tour manifest uploads (System training can be provided)
Taurus - inputting of all shorex tour and shuttle bus rates and data as required (System training can be provided)
Destiny – reviewing all cruise information is correct to ensure accurate planning & pricing of excursions
Managing allocation of on-sale cruises & liaising with agents as required to ensure maximum load factors are achieved through accurate system set up, correct allocations and timely opening of additional departures where available.
Responding to sales team queries
Advising agents of pre-book sales figures prior to cruise departure
Managing, curating and keeping up to date TOD library
Managing, curating and keeping up to date Risk form library
Issuing Agent contracts are issued in a timely manner, accurately and without error containing all agreed rates and relevant conditions and returned duly signed in line with agreed deadlines.
Liaising with onboard team to ensure all relevant pre-cruise information required is received including ADA vehicle requests.
Managing waitlists, requesting additional tour allocation and advising Sales Team and/or Onboard team accordingly.

The Ideal Candidate
Flexible and adaptable with outstanding attention to detail & working to deadlines
Confident in, and experienced in using Excel
Experience in database systems and solid IT systems knowledge (Taurus, Word, Outlook) 
MXP Operation System knowledge (training can be given)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
Self-motivated approach - Ability to work on own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
