We create award-winning social spaces, develop tasty globally-influenced menus, and recruit and train highly-skilled, passionate people to deliver best-in-class military dining.From high-street style restaurants to casual coffee bars and freshly made takeaway items, we are fuelling the modern military across all types of site, we now require a Service Delivery Managerfor Dalton Barracks, Oxfordshire to support the General Manager and a team of 30 in the day-to-day operational running of the different departments and facilities across the site which encompass the junior rank’s Mess, catering, leisure and the retail shop.You will have a Level 2 in Food safety and proven experience in facilities management managing large sites and teams and ideally have extensive experience from a contract catering background, convenience store and quick service restaurants.You will be proactive, be able to handle multiple priorities, possess excellent communication skills and time management.Leading from the front, you will oversee the following:Health and safety/food safety (including risk assessments and allergen checks)Stakeholder Management (you will be expected to attend client meetings)Point of sale and digital systems.LeadershipAuditsStock controlStaff mentoring and trainingIt is important to remember that the site may be a place of work to the successful candidate but to the soldiers based their it is the home so you will need to approach the role with both passion and empathy and boast outstanding interpersonal skills.This role will be Monday to Friday, working a 5 out of 7 schedule and shift pattern to meet the demands of the business.
