A day in the life of... Imagine chatting with customers who are ready to transform their homes. You’ll guide them through their buying journey, answering their questions, offering expert advice, and helping them find their dream sofa. But it doesn’t stop there - you’ll upsell those finishing touches and create wish lists for customers who need a little extra time to decide.
From start to finish, you’ll ensure every customer interaction is smooth, fun, and tailored to their needs. You’ll also:
Take the lead on assisting customers through multiple channels - phone, webchat, and email.
Keep on top of your product knowledge to provide the best advice.
Support customers with finance applications and make sure everything’s done the right way.
Work leads and follow up on customer wish lists to turn browsing into buying.
In an ideal world... Sales skills aren't necessary to be successful for this role... but what we'd really love is a people person who’s passionate about delivering standout service. You’ll need to have:
A warm, engaging personality that puts customers at ease.
Brilliant communication skills, whether you’re chatting on the phone or typing up a webchat response.
A positive attitude and a knack for building relationships.
