We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to carry out duties to support the delivery of our Visual Communications (Art and Graphic Communications) curriculum and Food and Nutrition GCSE working as part of a small team in our thriving co-educational independent specialist day school.
Candidates should be able to work well with others as an integral part of The Levels School team to assist in the support of resourcing teaching and learning whilst being confident in their own abilities to be able to work unsupervised when required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday. Term time only. Possibility for flexible hours within the school day which runs 9.00-4.00
We can offer this FT or PT and would consider Part Time hours for the right candidate.
Salary commensurate with experience and skill set offered

Main ResponsibilitiesThe role encompasses a variety of tasks that could be tailored to the individuals' strengths and previous experience. This could include technician support for the Art, Science, and Food departments. There is also the possibility of supporting within the education team for the right candidate
To support the lead teacher for Visual Communications and be directed as required.
The day-to-day tasks are likely to be:
Support with stock check and ordering consumables
Support with keeping stock and prep room tidy
Support lead teacher and KS4 students with mounting work
Mounting and displaying student work
Alongside lead teacher using skills and experience to guide KS4 students with the development and presentation of ideas.
To support the lead teacher for Food technology and be directed as required: These are likely to be:
Support with purchase and storing of ingredients
Support with keeping kitchen equipment organised
Support with set up/pack away of food equipment and ingredients
Alongside lead teacher support students within the kitchen in accordance with SEN and H&S
