Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence.The service you will work This service forms part of the North Cluster of mental health supported housing services. There is a medium support service within the North Cluster consisting of 2 projects – 19 Coningham Road and 21 Sulgrave Road. Consideration should be given to sharing staff and other resources with the medium support service.Nia House already exists as high supported housing and it is currently mixed gender. It is expected that the project will always operate as mixed gender and understood that this may be balanced equally or unequally, depending on what is needed for the borough at the time.The service will have a high level of support and will need to provide a service to people with complex needs, including forensic histories and chaotic lifestyles that could involve substance misuse issues. People living at the service may not be compliant with medication and may need support in this area. The project will be staffed with waking staff 24 hours a day.All services within the North Cluster will be expected to participate in steering group meetings with other mental health support providers, H&F Housing Advisors and Tri-borough Commissioners and Contracts Officers. Services
will also be expected to build positive relationships and work closely with mental health care management teams.A day in this role looks like….As a Pool Worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in North Cluster Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:Empower a caseload of clients with a range of needs to manage their health and wellbeing, maintain their independence, identify their strengths, and achieve their goals and aspirations, working in partnership with our subcontractors as required to achieve this, under the direction of Management.Clearly articulate the aims and objectives, pathway and service model to people using the service so they can fully participate in and co-produce their support.Empower service users to engage effectively in their liaisons with professionals within the community such as social work teams, housing providers, health professionals, JCP etc.Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure service coverage.Where applicable, develop co-produced group activities, peer support networks and other community-based approaches to empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations and to encourage service users to access these opportunities.Take responsibility of your own learning and development.Our pool list offers you complete flexibility when it comes to aspirations and to encourage service users to access these opportunitiesWhy Hestia?Joining Hestia means more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of something bigger.
