As an Accommodation Auditor/ Accommodation Services Accountant at Merville Barracks, Colchester, You will be Responsible for providing all activities associated in relation to the Logistical Support Unit as part of the team, you're the one with the skills to ensure behind the scenes of facilities run like clockwork and ensure your managers feel supported. There won't be a day that is the same because you will spend 75% of your time on the ground and 25% behind a computer.

What you’ll do:
Control and account for all Defence Accommodation Stores (DAS) for units within Merville Barracks.
Carry out 6 monthly stock checks on DAS holdings for units within Merville Barracks.
Ensure a good working relationship exists with the Customer and to ensure timely bookings are made for occupants to move out of Single Living in Accommodation (SLA) (14 days’ notice)
Conduct monthly conditioning boards of unserviceable items and raise bills where appropriate in accordance with current MOD policy and regulations.
Attend march outs of Single Living Accommodation and raise the necessary documentation for billing an occupant in accordance with current MOD policy and regulations in staff absences or busy periods.
Manage and put together the Barrack Damage folder each month.
Chase outstanding documentation to close down a bill with the Unit.
Maintain all AB 531 and carry out unit/accountant comparison.
Maintain/manage and close all Helpdesk events.
Report all events raised on Helpdesk to the PFI Furniture Fitters.
Undertake furniture audits using the CAFM system Planet.
Issue site keys on loan or permeant.
Assist the fitter team in busy periods.
What you bring:

Hold a full UK driving license
Must be over 25 years of age
Able to work within a team environment

Confident Communicator
