Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor in the UK Power Industry to recruit a Telehandler on a 9-month contract basis for their Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Immingham.
The Telehandler position comes with an hourly rate of �20.00.
Key skills and responsibilities:
* Operate a telehandler to lift, move and position materials across the site.
* Safely load and unload materials from trucks.
* Transport materials to designated areas within the construction site.
* Report to the Construction Manager on site for the EPC Contractor
* Moving equipment such as Pipes, and cables to be installed on the plant.
* Tasks are provided at the beginning of the shift and then workers are able to carry out their services as they see fit throughout the day under no supervision - i.e., site facilities - taking deliveries - loading delivery banksman, insulating pipes. Toilet maintenance checking all working plumbing.
* Must hold a valid CPCS card
* Must hold a valid CSCS card
* Valid Telehandler Licence
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Telehandler role:
* Immingham.
* �20.00 per hour (CIS)
* Start date – January 2025
