Astute’s EPC Power team is partnering with a Consultancy within the UK Power Industry to recruit a Business Development Consultant / Sales Engineer on a 12 months contract basis across the UK.
The Business Development Consultant / Sales Engineer position comes with a day rate from �400.00 to �450.00 per day.
Key skills and responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Power industry.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for growth.
* Provide technical support and expertise during client engagements.
* Develop and present tailored technical solutions to meet client needs and requirements.
* Prepare detailed proposals, including cost analysis and project timelines.
* Monitor project progress and address any technical or commercial issues.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in business development, sales engineering, or a similar role within the Power industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of power systems, renewable energy, or related technologies
* Have a good understanding of DCS systems, and various PLC's.
