Firewall Specialist - Utrecht Area - Cyber Security Consultancy - (5K -6K Per month)+ Benefits, ect.
Claremont consulting are partnered with a scale up Cyber Security/Ethical hacking group based in Utrecht who are currently looking for a Firewall Specialist to join the term on a permanent basis.
You will be part of a team who are servicing a wide range of clients which include the Ministry of Defense, Tax Authorities, Chamber of Commerce, Various MBO and HBO institutions.
As a Firewall Specialist, you are responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining firewall solutions to protect network infrastructure. You work closely with IT security teams to identify and mitigate potential threats, and ensure that security protocols are up to date.
Responsibilities:
* Designing and implementing effective firewall solutions.
* Maintaining and upgrading existing firewall systems.
* Analyze and assess network traffic for suspicious activity.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to develop and execute security strategies.
* Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Job requirements:
* 3 to 4 years of work experience in a similar role.
* HBO degree in Computer Science, Network Security, or a related field.
* Relevant certificates such as CCNA, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security, or Firewall related such as Fortinet, cisco or other brands.
* Strong knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
* Experience with Firewall solutions such as: Forinet, Checkpoint, Cisco and the like.
* Experience with a language such as: Python, golang, bash or similar.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
