adi Electrical Compliance Contracts Manager

Location - We are ideally seeking a candidate based in the Midlands who is willing to travel to client sites as needed.

About the Role

As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical compliance contracts from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with applicable regulations. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality electrical service from pre-contract to contract completion.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

Ensure site teams comply with health and safety (H&S) regulations and client safety policies.
Create and send accurate Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to customers as needed. Conduct site H&S audits and hold Toolbox Talks.
Develop testing schedules outlining tasks, timelines, and resource needs.
Maintain project schedules and identify critical paths and potential bottlenecks.
Coach and mentor staff, conducting employee appraisals.
Lead site engineers to meet work schedules and customer deadlines.
Manage commercial performance of contracts, ensuring budget control over costs.
Oversee multiple sites and contracts simultaneously.
Tender and quote for small to medium electrical work accurately and timely.
Conduct site surveys for clients and collaborate with other adi disciplines for customer satisfaction.
Handle invoicing and manage contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Attend meetings with customers and internal teams.
Develop and monitor project budgets for cost control.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Communicate project progress clearly to stakeholders.
Optimize resource allocation to enhance project performance and address constraints.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

Relevant NVQ or degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in electrical project management, particularly in contracts management
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Intrinsically motivated with a positive and engaging attitude.
Strong team-oriented work ethic.
A driving license is essential.
