Maintenance Engineer
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 

40 hours per week
Rotating by rota weekly to work between Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:30
Early finishes on a Friday

Location: Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £32,444.95 per annum

Our coffin manufacturing plant in Driffield is at the heart of this mission, producing precision-crafted coffins with care and attention to detail. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure our plant operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely, delivering exceptional quality every time.
What your day-to-day will look like…

Collaborate with management and other departments to uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance while contributing to the seamless production of our products.
Play a crucial role in maintaining the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment that underpin our manufacturing operations which include, diagnostics, repairs, quality standards and training.
Provide regular updates on maintenance schedules, progress, and challenges, facilitating effective decision-making.
Conducted comprehensive inspections and executed maintenance routines to minimise risks.
Strategically plan and execute maintenance activities to prevent operational downtime.
Identify tasks requiring external expertise and coordinate subcontractor requirements effectively for timely resolution.

What we are looking for…

Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
NVQ L3 in Engineering or equivalent. 
IOSH certification.
Any experience with biomass boilers is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to foster collaboration across departments and mentor team members effectively.
Excellent time management, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
