Job Title - NSC General ManagerLocation - TamworthWorking hours - Mon - Fri, 07.30-16.00Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant andsupport services – everything for every job!Job DetailsAs an NSC General Manager you will assume overall responsibility for the delivery and operational processes within the National Service Centre (NSC), driving lean operational efficiencies across all areas in support of the wider Speedy business objectives and targets. You will be joining the team at an exciting time, helping to continue our growth and delivering first class customer service.Responsible for:· Driving network fulfilment and engineering productivity ensuring the hire network is stocked to target, ensuring assets are delivered on time, to the correct location, to the highest quality standard, from the supply chain through to Customer delivery.· Daily, monthly and annual asset programming control to ensure satisfaction of internal customers· Develop a high performing and engaged team through effective recruitment, onboarding, continued coaching and development, performance management, and retention.· Develop the Company’s people capability and talent pool aligned to business goals, including the identification and development of Speedy’s future leaders through succession planning and PDR’s all-in accordance with Speedy Career Line of sight.· Implementation of highly effective Logistic and warehouse function supporting the flow and distribution of assets nationally, regionally and throughout the Speedy network.· Ensure that the supporting workshop asset servicing activities meet all demands for Test and Run and Repair/Service creating the correct levels of asset availability· Implementation and enhancement of all asset tracking and IS systems across the NSC.· Activities delivered at or by the NSC are fully compliant with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.· Facilities are serviced, maintained and function to the highest possible standard with adequate security measures in place to protect the People and Assets.· Financial and managerial reporting to include people, assets and processes.
