Astute’s EPC Contract Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit an EC&I Supervisor to join their Large-Scale Waste to Energy facility based in Cheshire on a 10 months contract.
The EC&I Supervisor role comes with a day rate from �450.00 to �500.00 per day.
Key skills and responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Electrical Manager, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
* Plan and allocate daily tasks for team members and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
* Monitor and analyse system performance to identify areas for improvement.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and inspection activities.
* Provide expert technical support to resolve complex issues with electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
* Perform diagnostics using advanced tools and equipment.
* Develop strategies to prevent recurring faults or failures.
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompEx, HV/LV switching, PLC programming) are advantageous.
* Proven experience in EC&I roles within the energy-from-waste, power generation, or similar industrial sectors.

* Chester, Cheshire
* �450.00 to �500.00 per day
* Start date -January 2025
* 10 months contract
