Your new role…In this exciting role, you’ll be the backbone of our Support Office, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes! You’ll juggle administrative tasks while supporting the Senior Leadership Team and lead a small team that takes care of Reception and Housekeeping. If you’re ready to make an impact and have a good time doing it, this is the place for you!A day in the life of… An Office Manager,You will be accountable for admin access on multiple portals, goods ordering, suppliermanagement, expenses and travel bookings.● You’ll make catering arrangement for any required meetings taking place at Support Office● You will help plan, implement and embed any new ways of working across the Support Officeand for the Office Support colleagues.● In your role, you will liaise with Sofologists at all levels, across all business areas. You will buildstrong working relationships with stakeholders, and be trusted to provide efficient andconfidential support and updates on time, and in a way that is clear, concise, and engaging forthe audience.● Given that you will lead a small team, you will be responsible for effectively leading this teamand ensuring that there is always adequate cover during periods of annual leave or sickness.This may include you personally covering any of these areas.● Accountable for ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and efficiencies are achieved andmanaging the team against these● Overseeing the day-to-day administrative activities of the office, including managing the officebudget, recording expenditure, and managing invoices● We want you to take the initiative and consider ways in which we can be more efficient inSupport Office ways of working and processes and how we can enhance the visitor experience.● You will be an advocate of high standards across the building, so you will need to set anexample of what this looks like and have the confidence to challenge in the right way anybehaviour that does not align with this.● It is important that all visitors receive a warm welcome to Sofology and inquiries are dealt within a helpful and professional manner.In an ideal world…You will have the following experience…● The ability to communicate both verbally and written with Sofologists at all levels, buildingstrong working relationships, enabling you to deliver on their requirements and expectations.● You need to be able to adapt and respond quickly to change● Timely completion of tasks and accuracy and attention to detail are key.● You will have experience in Line Management and have the confidence to motivate andperformance manage if required● You will have a strong background in administrative roles● Strong IT and typing skills● Strong team working skills are a must.
