This entry level Operations and Maintenance Assistant role comes with a salary of �27,000 per year, plus benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Fuel and Secondary Products Manager, you will:
* Manage the weighbridge system, recording data accurately.
* Oversee vehicle movement on-site, ensuring smooth waste delivery operations.
* Operate and maintain mobile plant equipment, including front loaders, telehandlers, and forklifts.
* Supervise the Incinerated Bottom Ash (IBA) processing area and coordinate chemical and consumable deliveries.
* Maintain cleanliness in fuel reception areas and enforce traffic management and site rules.
* Conduct driver inductions, waste inspections, and report non-conforming waste.
* Uphold health and safety standards, reporting accidents or unsafe practices promptly.
Professional Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience in maintenance or similar roles (preferred but not essential).
* A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
* Computer literate.
