As a Porter/Post Room Assistant at HMRC Nottingham, you'll be the one with the know-how to keep behind-the-scenes facilities running like clockwork. We currently have an opportunity to support our post room operations and contribute to the smooth running of our café deliveries and cleaning tasks where required.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver excellent communication while providing an efficient, professional mail service to our clients and contractors.
Sort incoming mail and deliver it promptly and correctly to various areas of the building.
Arrange outgoing mail for scheduled pickups.
Understand and follow safety protocols for handling any package entering the building.
Be the go-to person for all incoming deliveries, supporting the security team to ensure all items are accounted for in a timely manner.
Assist with receiving and organising café deliveries, ensuring they are properly stored and accounted for.
Support with general cleaning tasks when required to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
What You Bring:
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt within a team.
Strong safety awareness.
A proactive attitude and the flexibility to take on additional tasks when needed.
